Recorded (very) live at The Hex Waves bandroom in Waltham, Christchurch, August 2016. Recorded straight to 1/4-inch tape on a TEAC A-3340S found in a pile of rubbish outside the Psychology Department at the University of Canterbury.

The Hex Waves have been Nadine Luscombe (drums), Luke Wood (guitar and vocals), and Jamie Stratton (bass 2016–18), and Ella Sutherland (bass 2013–mid 2016).

The 'Canine Rising' cassette is released in cooperation with Melted Ice Cream.
